Florida State vs. Boston Live Stream College Betting Odds, Analysis, College Football Pick

Boston College owns a five-game losing streak against Florida State, but the Eagles have covered the spread in five of the last seven meetings, including the last two. Boston College will be hoping for a little home-field magic when it hosts the Seminoles Friday night in Chestnut Hill.

Point spread: The Seminoles opened as 10.5-point favorites, according to sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark. (Here are the line updates and matchup report.)

College football pick, via Odds Shark computer: 27.3-17.3, Seminoles

Why the Florida State Seminoles can cover the spread
FSU is 2-0 following Saturday's 34-14 victory over South Florida. The Seminoles settled for a 7-7 halftime tie with the Bulls, then won the second half 27-7, although they couldn't quite cover as 28-point favorites. Florida State ran the ball for 278 yards, 266 by running back Dalvin Cook, and held the ball for over 33 minutes, while the defense limited USF to one conversion on 13 third-down attempts.

Two weeks ago, the Seminoles opened the season with a 59-16 romp over Texas State, covering at minus-28.

Florida State only returned 11 starters this season, but that didn't include transfer quarterback Everett Golson, and it did include seven on defense. Also, playing away from home means the spread is a little more amenable to Florida State, which has covered its last five spots as favorites on the road of 10 points or less.

Why the Boston College Eagles can cover the spread

Boston College is also 2-0 on this young season, coming off a 76-0 scrimmage against FCS Howard. The Eagles led 41-0 after one quarter and 62-0 at the half, when the game probably should have been called. However, it was a meaningless endeavor for Boston College, because the victory can't be used toward bowl eligibility. The game probably shouldn't have even been lined, but the Eagles covered as 44-point favorites.

Two weeks ago, Boston College opened this season with a 24-3 victory over FCS Maine.

The Eagles only returned 10 starters this season, but six of them were on what has a chance to be a pretty good defense. Also, Boston College scared the heck out of Florida State last year as a 17-point underdog in Tallahassee, outrushing the Seminoles 240-110, taking them to the very end before succumbing on a field goal with three seconds left, 20-17.

Smart pick

Florida State couldn't shake the Eagles last season, but as long as Golson doesn't turn the ball over, the Seminoles should be able to take care of business Friday night. The smart choice here is with Florida State, minus the points.

Clemson vs. Louisville: Ticket Info, Date, TV Schedule and Live Stream

Before the season, Thursday's showdown between the No. 11 Clemson Tigers and Louisville Cardinals at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium stood out as an early-season slugfest between conference title hopefuls.

Instead, it's a case of one of the nation's most dominant teams making a trip to Louisville to encounter a reeling Cardinals team that is still searching for its first win.

Granted, the Tigers and head coach Dabo Swinney have had it easy thus far, while Cardinals head coach Bobby Petrino and Co. underwent a trial by fire to start the season. Regardless, the two will collide under a national spotlight in what should be an intriguing matchup thanks to stingy defenses and offenses oozing potential.
Here's a look at everything you need to know about the affair.

Viewing Info

When: Thursday, September 17, 7:30 p.m. ET

Where: Papa John's Cardinal Stadium; Louisville, Kentucky

Television: ESPN

Live Stream: WatchESPN

Tickets: ScoreBig.com

Betting Line (via Odds Shark): Clemson (-7)

So far, so good for Clemson, owner of a 2-0 record after beating Wofford and Appalachian State by a combined score of 90-20 in tuneup contests.

On offense, Deshaun Watson has looked unstoppable in his first action out of Cole Stoudt's shadow. He has completed 77.1 percent of his passes for 442 yards and five scores with just one interception.

While not easy to judge yet, preseason projections tabbing the Tigers with an elite defense have looked good, too. It's a theory the Cardinals can put to the test, though, considering the player Louisville will trot out under center remains a mystery and lead back Brandon Radcliff has looked good so far with 27 totes for 119 yards and two scores.

Swinney isn't one to underestimate the competition, though, as Dan Hope of Orange and White noted:

Wladimir Klitschko vs. Bryant JenningsLive Stream: Fight Time, Date, Live Stream, TV Info

It's been more than seven years since WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (63-3, 53 KO) graced an American boxing ring with his presence. The wait is about to end Saturday, April 25, at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Don't everyone jump for joy at once.

Klitschko's opponent and challenger for the titles will be 30-year-old undefeated heavyweight Bryant "By-By" Jennings (19-0, 10 KO). Many fans would have preferred to see Klitshcko take on the only other heavyweight champion, WBC titleholder Deontay Wilder, but that hopefully is a bout that can happen somewhere down the line.

For now, Jennings will provide the opposition. The Philadelphia native will undoubtedly have the crowd behind him as he attempts to send Klitschko back to the Ukraine without his titles. Here's the viewing information for the bout.

When: Saturday, April 25 at 10 p.m. ET

Where: Madison Square Garden in New York

TV: HBO

Live Stream: BoxNation (only available in the UK)

If you asked Americans who are not fight fans to name the heavyweight champion of the world, there's a good chance most wouldn't be able to. In most modern eras, even the American with the slightest interest in the sport could name the person holding that title.

This unfortunate dynamic is partly due to the fact that Klitschko isn't American or flashy.  It's also because he isn't exciting in the ring.

Klitschko's approach is not aesthetically pleasing, but he and his trainers—including the late Emanuel Steward—deserve tons of credit for crafting a style that maximizes the champion's qualities. Steward disciple and current Klitschko trainer, Johnathon Banks, laments the American public's disconnect from his fighter.

The betting odds for UFC 186: Johnson vs. Horiguchi tell the tale of what many expect to be a one-sided headliner act for the UFC flyweight title between champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and challenger Kyoji Horiguchi. The champion is currently a 10-to-1 favourite, which means he is expected to win the bout on Saturday 91% of the time, and the bettor would need to place a bet of $10 to win $1. Conversely, the challenger Kyoji Horiguchi is a 6.5-to-1 underdog, and thus has a 13% chance of winning the bout and walking away with the title.

In complete contrast, the closest fight on the card odds wise is the co-main event between Michael Bisping and C.B. Dolloway, with only a slight edge going to the favourite, Bisping.

Elsewhere, the returning Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is a heavy 3-to-1 favourite over Fabio Maldonado in the third featured bout on the card.

UFC 186 will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada on Saturday, April 25th on Pay-Per-View.

Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid Live Stream: Team News, Preview, Live Stream and TV Info

By Tim Collins , Featured Columnist Apr 21, 2015

Real Madrid will welcome neighbours Atletico Madrid to the Bernabeu on Wednesday for the highly anticipated second leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash.

Following a scoreless draw in the first leg at the Vicente Calderon, it's difficult to know which side has the upper hand in this tie, and Wednesday's encounter could be a rather cagey affair.

"I don't think Atletico will be in a rush to score and neither will we," Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said on Tuesday, per Marca, indicating that the match is likely be a test of patience and defensive organisation.

For the hosts, the task has been made considerably more difficult due to an array of injuries. On Saturday, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric left Real Madrid's clash with Malaga and will both miss the eighth Derbi madrileno of the season. Marca has also reported that Karim Benzema will miss the match due to a sprained ligament in his right knee, while left-back Marcelo is unavailable through suspension.

Replacing that quartet will most likely be Fabio Coentrao, Asier Illarramendi, Isco and Javier Hernandez, who should line up in a formation Ancelotti is expected to switch to a 4-4-2.

Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, are facing far fewer headaches in the lead up to this second leg and will carry the confidence built from their dominant, seven-game unbeaten streak against Real Madrid this season.

After missing Saturday's 2-1 victory over Deportivo La Coruna, Mario Mandzukic is expected to return to the XI, with manager Diego Simeone expressing his confidence the Croatian will be fit.

"We had a training session yesterday with two groups where we were making changes, and he [Mandzukic] was fine," Simeone said on Tuesday (via the Daily Mail). "We now have another training session where we expect him to be OK, and I will base my plan, which I have fairly clearly in mind, around that."

Should the striker prove his fitness, Simeone will only be forced into one change, with the suspended Mario Suarez likely to be replaced by Tiago.

The Argentinian's only other decision will be whether to use Guilherme Siqueira or Jesus Gamez at left-back.

Players to Watch

Throughout Real Madrid's run to La Decima last season, Ancelotti consistently opted for Fabio Coentrao on the left side of his defence, clearly in the belief the Portuguese brought far greater reliability to the back four than Marcelo.

But injuries and indifferent form have derailed Coentrao's campaign in 2014-15, limiting him to just six combined starts in La Liga and the Champions League.

Now, however, after just four appearances this calendar year and without a minute of playing time in more than a month, the left-back is set to be thrust into the heat of a quarter-final battle with Atleti.

How quickly can he get up to speed?

For the visitors, Tiago, like Coentrao, is another player set to make his first contribution to this quarter-final tie in Wednesday's second leg.

Interestingly, the veteran midfielder has been involved in some crucial moments in the duels between these teams this season, having scored the opening goals in the pair of league meetings.

It's also quite remarkable that Tiago, one of Simeone's midfield anchors, is among Atleti's most prolific goalscorers in 2014-15 with five strikes across the duration of the season.

Another such blow could prove decisive.

Key Battle

Can Javier Hernandez cause any trouble for Diego Godin and Miranda?

When you look at the scarcity of playing time for the Mexican this season, as well as the fact he's barely played a hour of football against heavyweight opponents, it's hard to envisage him doing so.

But Real Madrid need him to. Hernandez needs to buzz around Atleti's central pair. He needs to press. Chase balls down. Compete in the air. Win the 50-50s.

If he doesn't, the visitors' defence will be hard to breach. But if he can be a nuisance to Godin and Miranda, if he can either create or capitalise on a half-chance, he might just be an unlikely source of the telling contribution Real Madrid require.

Bucks vs. Bulls Live Stream: Game 2, NBA playoffs 2015: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

By
GBame 1 of the Bulls-Bucks series was all about Derrick Rose. The former MVP looked as good as he has since all the injuries began, scoring 23 points and dishing out seven assists in just 27 minutes to lead the Bulls to 103-91 home win. He was able to create off the dribble and get to the basket, and he looked explosive attacking the hoop. The long and quick-footed Milwaukee Bucks, normally stingy on the defensive end, had no answer for him.

But while Rose got most of the attention, Game 1 of this series was a vintage Bulls performance for other reasons as well. Tom Thibodeau's defense was able to hold the Bucks to 39 percent shooting. With Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson and Jimmy Buttler all playing major minutes, Milwaukee was unable to find easy looks.

This is a building season for the Bucks, who were really never supposed to be in the playoffs anyway. It wouldn't come as a surprise if Chicago was able to dispose of Jason Kidd's young group in just five games.

But if the Bucks do plan on extending their season, they must take Game 2. Winning four out of five against this Bulls teams is too hard a task. Chicago looks ready to make a deep postseason run, and if the Derrick Rose we saw in Game 1 continues to show up, it just might.

How to watch Milwaukee at Chicago
